Britney Spears is officially a judge on “The X Factor.” 

Another former pop sensation and Mickey Mouse Club member makes her way onto a television music contest. Christina Aguilera and Tony Lucca weren’t enough for prime-time. (Even with all their drama on “The Voice.”) Will Justin Timberlake be next? 

But seriously, it was announced that Spears was offered $15 million to judge one season of the show. A source close to Spears told E! that the contract was signed. 

“There’s been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she’s on,” the source said. “It’s all completed and Britney is beyond excited…She’s ready for this.” 

“The X Factor” returns to Fox for its second season in September.
